The Viskon-Aire V Series is a high efficiency extended surface pocket filter consisting of 100% non-shedding organic synthetic microfibers constructed with a lofted pre-filtering media on the air entering side and a non-woven backing material on the air leaving side. All three plys are bonded into a progressive density laminate which provides a media burst strength of 4.0” w.g.. It provides low initial pressure drop, superior dust holding and long service life.
The “V” Series are constructed of modular pocket assemblies within a non-corrosive, galvanized header frame with rolled edges and flush mitered corners, and the media is sewn with double lock stitch edges and a thermoplastic synthetic sealant on all spacer stitches to provide a leak-free construction. With state of the art stitching equipment, very consistent media control stitching is achieved to allow for full media utilization (A pocket supported model is available in full and half size configurations 26” deep.)
